Restoring/cleaning factory finish on axles etc...

Post by mattyv74 »

Any ideas Guys? On my current resto i don't want to chrome the axles, nuts, swingarm arm pivots etc... and i think painting them doesn't look just right. They are all in perfect condition but have just dulled right off and are all grimey.
Any old school tips to soak them in are polish them with would be great, but i do want to keep the new factory look.
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.
