Re: Thermal Clothing...
Check out the Rjays range. WE have 2 silk balaclavas Model RJBAL they seem ok . also have a plain neck warmer and a neck warmer with a silk hood. the neck warmers restrict head movement a bit. still better than being cold.http://www.RJAYS.com.au

Re: Thermal Clothing...
Seems like there's plenty out there to choose from.
From what I've been reading, the merino wool stuff is the go for motorcycle riders - unless you plan on getting off mid-ride and going for a jog.
I'm going to go store hopping next week and see what I can dig up. I quite like the look of the Icebreaker stuff (http://www.icebreaker.com/site/index.html) and it gets great wraps from just about everyone.
I'll let you know how I go.

Re: Thermal Clothing...
I have both Damart and Icebreaker thermals and they both have their uses. Icebreakers breath because they are wool and the new range is marketed as "no stink" after days of constant wearing, something some of you will no doubt appeciate. Damarts are synthetic and do not breath and do absord body odor, and they can overheat you, but efective with wind chill, better than newspapers stuffed down you old leather jacket!!!!!
