Group buy - Grip pads.

Post by MadKaw »

We were talking about this stuff a while ago as it looks MUCH better than that stomp grip stuff.

Well it looks like Triway (Mark) is sorting a group buy..
Pricing looks good with the 5 piece kit of 2 tank pads, 2 frame pads and 1 tank protector being $48 delivered.

Post up your interest and Mark will get onto it..

Just to confirm, some are 5 piece like the ZX10 with 2 tank grips, 2 frame grips and a centre tank grip. Others are 3 piece. You can also just get the centre tank protector on it's own for $16 delivered, in either material.
The snake skin is thicker, at about 4mm deep, and the High Fusion is thin like tube rubber on a push bike.
Both offer exceptional grip for holding on with your knees, reducing arm pump, as well as protecting paintwork from your knees. Another benefit in a kit like the ZX10 is in summer you don't kave to worry about burning your knees on the frame when it heats up, if you squid that is! 8)

I've been reading that the center pad for the 08 10's are a little narrow and some customers have been requesting for it to be replaced with the 675 pad instead.
Also i've heard that they do a clear version as well, is this true ?

Do you mean just the centre pad? Yes you can get that on it's own, otherwise they come as a complete set.

Haven't heard that myself? :? The tank protectors are available seperately if you don't like the one in the kit, otherwise they come as a sealed set, unable to swap bits around sorry.
Yes they do a clear one called Ice grip, it's only available in the general sheets. The general sheets I will do for $40 delivered, in any material.

If you are saying yes you would like some, I need to know which material you want, Snake Skin or High Fusion(or Ice grip if you want just the general sheet)?

so far we have-
MadKaw- '05 ZX10 (high fusion)
Robracer-General Sheet (high fusion)
dilligaf- General sheet (Snake Skin)
gearbox- 2 x general sheet, 1 snakeskin, 1 icegrip

Personally I prefer the Snake Skin and have it on my track bike. They both work good, just are different.
