Pool Sand?

Does any of the Sydney-Windsor crew have a small amount of filter sand I can acquire, by way of small cash donation or beveridge purchase?

Only need about half a bucket or so, happy to pick up on Friday night. Need very soon-ish.

what kinda sand is pool sand?? silica? fine beach sand?

Not sure what type it is but it's specific crap you whack in your sandfilter.

I have to replace mine this year but it won't be until September/October. I'll have shitloads then. If nothing else pops up most pool shops should have bags of it

Do they have small bags? I know its normally sold in large bags, but as I dont actually want to put in in a filter, I would be wasting an awful lot. And as I don't have a pool, either, I don't know much about it at all.

i can get you lots of sand, just not pool sand,
