Post by wolf »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Me and a mate each picked up a set of these today. Going to try them out over the weekend if this friggin rain goes away :x Its $185 shipped overnight to you door which I thought was a pretty decent deal. Can be used as bike-to-bike and/or rider-to-pillion. Being UHF cb you could join a whole groups of riders 2gether. i'll let you know how they fair up in regards to sound quality 'at speed'
Catchyas later.

Hey if its good enough for them its good enough for me.
By the way the site I got them from is http://www.prestigecom.net.au
Theyre based in WA.
If enough people are interested you might be able to do a group buy and get a better price :?:

Hey everyone

i've been heaps busy with work and I dont have much net access so apologies for the delay. . I've only used them on 2 rides so far and to be honest they performed below what I expected. The microphone is very sensitive and must be positioned accurately for it to pick up voice. The voice activation is delayed, we ended up having to use a word to start off every transmission otherwise you would miss the first few words of each sentence. Still playing around with them and experimenting so i'll let you know if i get them to work any better.

Cheers,

Matt.

I used to buy my stuff direct from a uniden distributor, thanks to a handy connection via work (We supply uniden with their internet and I was nice to the Vic/Tas Rep).. Might have to drop in and see what they can do me a set for, they'd be cool if they work...
