I had a great day today
. Many thanks to all the guys and gals from TJ Performance and the fine cooks on the bbq
.
The ZX9 only manage 135hp rear wheel after all my mods
. So I'm in the process of hunting down a NOS kit... that way I will have the king of the 9s.
Frank you suck.

Thanks Tex, Jenn & crew for a great day.
The ZRX got exactly what I wanted/expected, happy with that.
My 9 surprised everyone by finding another 2 hp over last time it was dyno'd, looks like that last 23K odd hasnt done it any harm. Dare say the new HD clutch I had sitting in the garage for the last two years that Tim recently installed is working fine, 132.8 with 127.5K on the clock will do me

Yep, a great day and a huge thanks to Tex, Jen and the TJ crew for coming out on a Sunday and putting this on for us.
Thanks to everyone who turned up too, we had a good range of bikes and I think a lot of info was gained.
We had the Canberra crew and the southerners put in a big effort to make the long trip for the day, with Gos being the first one there..
We also had quite a few no shows, which is dissapointing.
I think Joe and Frank (who must now have the record.
) would be pretty happy with there bikes as would a few others (me included, thanks to the custom map done by Tex and Jen on Friday..
)
The results looked pretty acurate and most were within 2hp of the results on the previous dyno day at TJ's.
Heres what we got... I'll let ppl tell there own stories about how, why or where..

Re: (NSW) Dyno Day - 26th of October - TJ's
what a great trip that was ! Huge thanks to Tex and Jen for the whole day, the set-up was great, Tex got all the bikes through really well......and the BBQ was ace..
Really good to catch up with all the Sydney crew again, and thanks to the guys who helped me out with the trackie over the course of the day........speaking of which......
I said at the start that 3 figures would be great......but it wasn't to be. 83hp is not so bad I guess, the donk is almost 30 years old
and only has 33mmCR smoothies and the 4-1 as the *total* sum of mods.......at least its given me a baseline to work with. Tex also had some invaluable advice about where to go with the jetting - it was way too rich right up top, and this flattened the curve off to buggery - up until that point, the curve actually looks pretty good . Re-jetting alone should see it up around 90hp.
Had to laugh with 30 years worth of *cobwebs* being blown out the back during the run
like I said to MadKaw, make sure NO-ONE is standing behind this shitter when its getting revved.....and the little bits of glowing carbon that erupted out of the 'zorst looked *just* like farking cobwebs as they blew about the workshop amongst the copious amounts of fuel-smoke !!!
I'll start on the video clips tonight - they should be up on youtube pretty shortly......maybe even tonight. I managed to get over to Sylvania Waters by 3 and pick up that Z750 twin motor - thanks heaps Billy !! Only a 3-hour cruise from there back home via Appin - some nice roads out that way.....
cheers to all the crew who made it such a great day - and anyone who gets hosed on the December track day by a measly 83hp will need to hang their head in shame !!!!!!!!

What a 750 with that much HP.
Looks like a Big Bore Kit, Turbo and NOS, with no air filter and a bigger bribe for TEX next time
