'98 zx6 passenger foot pegs fit '04 zx636?

Hi guys/gals,

First thing i just want to say is Great website!! It's been very useful. Just a quick question, does a '98 zx6 ride hand side passenger (exhaust side) foot pegs fit the '04 zx636?

I have recently noticed that mine are missing... I'm pretty sure someone has taken it or do they generally fall off after some hard riding (which i highly doubt)?

Are you talking about the peg missing from the hanger or the whole hanger missing? Some lowlife broke into my garage a few years ago and stole my pillion pegs from the hangers ..... and left my Akra slip-on

If it's only the pillion peg and not the hanger then yes, they should be interchangeable - if the hanger is missing I'd be very surprised if the 98 one would fit. Be careful when you're swapping them over - there's little ball bearings on springs inside the end of the peg and they jump and run for freedom the second you take the pegs out of the hanger.

it's meant to say the "right hand side passenger foot peg" not "ride hand side"... lol... but you guys get the idea

the hanger is still there with the yoshi exhaust... but they took only the right passenger foot peg with the bolt and spring that holds it in...

argghhh... the nerve of some ppl.

so pegs will fit? maybe i should ask kawasaki themselves...

Maybe not, but I'd be surprised. I can assure you it will fit a 98-02 zx6r (and 98-03 zx9r for that matter) and an 05-06 zx6r but the 03-04 zx6r may be different.

sorry dave but are you saying the hangers with the foot pegs will fit those models you mentioned above or were you just saying the foot pegs will fit?

There's a guy that's selling the 98 zx6 hanger with the foot pegs.

There's a guy that's selling the 98 zx6 hanger with the foot pegs.

The pillion pegs from any of these models will fit into the pillion peg hangers from any of these models. The hangers almost certainly wont fit between models.
