Wow what a weekend! One of the best ever for sure, I am still buzzing from it.

Eastern Creek is such a great track, by far the best I have ever raced at, you guys down there don't know how good you have it! I was originally just hoping to get into the 1:43s over the weekend, to hit 1:41s was just way beyond expectations, and carving my way through the back half of the field was a heap of fun too. I am definitely keen to go for a good result if I do another National meeting at EC. I already feel like I will be more competitive there than at my home track!

A big thanks to everyone at KSRC for the support and the help. Phil, Dave, Frank, Wattie and Cath, and everyone else. Just shows how great this club is that even though I am racing a Yamaha, everyone still remembers me from the Kawasaki days and lends their support. Racing on a tight budget and with no real crew / team to speak of is not possible without help from others, and I count myself lucky to have KSRC on my side.

I am racing again this weekend at Morgan Park, but unfortunately, this is no longer my favourite track!

Hey good find Phil, that is a good pic! Always nice to have one where I am in front of other bikes....

Yes I am happy with the lap times for my first time there, but next time (if there is a next time) I will need to drop another couple of seconds to get to the pointy end of the field. I know where I can find most of the time, and thanks to Phil's connections and the KSRC pit crew I have an idea on what gearing I need to run , so I will be aiming to hit 39s now that I know which way the corners go etc.

But I may not be back on the R6 next season, as it stands right now I really need to sell it to clear the debt I have amassed in three years of racing, but I am hoping to find a way to be racing something, somewhere, next season.

I did however, have a great end to the season. After E.C., I raced at Morgan Park last weekend for the final race meeting there for the year. After I got pole in the 600 class, I won all 3 of my races outright, and best of all - I set a new Supersport lap record! (1:05.635)

When I find the time I will write up a report, but the basic theme is this - What a great couple of weekends!
