Turning Green....Again

Post by RedRoo »

Hi guys n girls, I've been traveling a lot on my old TL1000R thats now having an identity crisis, it doesn't know if its a Superbike a Streetfighter a Tourer or a Motard anymore

But overall its fine but it does have a lousey fuel range, so I'm sitting here in Townsville-FNQ and thinking I've got a half done street fighter ZZR1100-D sitting in a shed in Brisvegas with its bowles hanging out needing a top end, the big ZZR is a lot more comfy than the Tiller and I can take a passenger on it when the times arise and it has a decent fuel range as well...

So I think i'll head back to Brisvegas and get the old girl finished off over x-mas before heading off again, if anyone knows of a stash of ZZR1100 motor goodies in a shed I'd like to know about them, I was onto some a while back but lost my phone and all the contact info, i was sure the contact came from here at KSRC.

I have two ZZR's now both 1100 and 600 and its time to put the Tiller back to being a mongrel streetfighter for the mountains and get the big ZZR re-fired into life

:D hey Gos, yeah mate I've been pretty quiet in recent times trying to get a lot of stuff organised and doing a hell of a lot of traveling :supz:

I'm hanging out in the tropics for a while then riding back to Brisvegas in a few weeks time to get the ZZR done, Nimbin huh..hmmm...March ? early or late?.. I'm doing Tassie on the 16th-26th of Feb, back to sydney then to Pi again for WSBK, across to adelaide for a track day then back to Pi for a track day then working my way north...slowly..lol, was intending to go right around but the" Big Wet" has allready hit the north a few months early this year.. FNQ is liquid sunshine ATM

Thanks for the WB ponti :D It appears that ZZR11 goodies are not so readily available, hell i'd settle for a set of cams and a few valves at this point
