Thoughts on alpinestars SX 1 Suit...

Post by supra supra »

Hi all :D

Just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts are on this suit especially those who wear one ie comfort, durability, crash protection...!

i guess I know what answers to expect but I'm asking anyway. ;)

I bought a red one yesterday worn only a handful of times, for $700, same as the attached pic.

Dave I might just have to book in! I've already booked in at EC on the 21st, would be good to see other KSRC guys... anyone going out to EC on the 21st December?

Wattie, funny you should mention getting a Ducati to match the leathers, when the seller advertised in formula extreme earlier he said a guy asked him 'if it matches a Ducati' he didn't respond, but unless your colour blind it doesn't match up much better. Silly Ducati riders. :P

My riding gear and bike colours don't match up at all...

I think it would go well with my red helmet and gloves.

I wouldn't get the same colour leathers as the bike it looks like your a power ranger morphine time.....
Although I usaully morphine time when i'm in the back of the ambo's

Tinman I'm guessing it's not 'morphine' time for you yet...? ;) Did I meet you at OP on the 24th Oct?

I bought the leathers from a bike wreckers in western Sydney, it was a private sale and the only one he had. It was only by chance I got them anyway, he asked me if I knew anyone that fitted them...

They're the same as mine, comfy, and crash tested. Wouldn't own Honda RED ones though........ :P
