I hope it gets blocked in the Senate, it really is just economic stupidity and it will get spent on imported stuff anyway. They should take it and put it into something that will provide a long term benefit eg infrastructure.

Same here, it's ok though Glen, the dole bludgers could just pick up a nice 42" plasma for that hand out. It's not like we haven't put our pennysworth into the economy.... mortgage, home improvements, kids in school, employing people, paying higher level tax, etc etc. Things like that shouldn't be means tested.
