Is it just me or are all the prices for accessories on the Kawasaki website (kawasaki.com.au) wrong? Either that or all the dealers are over-quoting me.
For example:
Kawasaki Versys lowered seat. Website, $660. Dealer $795 (approx, I forget the exact amount).
Kawasaki Versys vario screen. Website, $220. Dealer $285 (again approx).
I understand that the website has a disclaimer saying those prices are the RRP inc GST, not including freight. However isn't it pointless to list those prices if you can't actually buy the product for that price anywhere? Can I buy direct from Kawasaki? Surely postage of a screen from a warehouse anywhere in Australia to Queensland can't be $65???

Call a few dealers and ask for the RRP of the parts you want. At least then you'll be able to tell if your dealer is trying to rip you off.

Re: Kawasaki and their website prices
I've called a few dealers, and while the prices do vary (and yes, my local dealer is almost consistently the most expensive), they're all still a fair bit more than the supposed RRP on the Kawasaki website. And there are only so many Kawasaki dealers in the Brisbane area...
