zx6 vs zx636

If your talking about a ZX6RR and a ZX6R 636, thats about it the RR is set up to conform to the requirement for racing and 636 is the raod weapon of choice. There are a few technical diffeneces (clutch brakes etc) but I'm not a buff on that.

I beleive the 6RR is alot more adjustable. Ie, swingarm pivot point etc. Dunno if it got a slipper clutch (05 models both have one).

could be as simple as the zx6 being up to a 02 model, i'm pretty sure that was the first 636 model. before that they were all 599cc, 95-01.

when they brought out the 636 in 02 they used the last years bike for racing as they needed a 600. then when the new 03 came out it was accompanied by the RR version in 599cc for racing only. as we all know the 636 is a better road bike than the RR.

i reckon the 02 model would be a craker, the old comfortable bike with the bigger engine.

6RR, like all current "600" supersport bikes, is 599cc. 636 - 599 = 37
