years in this place, married, kids, etc
. Rode bikes from late '60's to mid 70's, never got off "L's" back then (2 easy not to), gave it up about '75. New Years '07/08 at a mates place, talkin cars/bikes
, made a resolution to get the licence, stop just talking! Did the whole Stay Upright number ( BEST thing I ever did, those people are MAGIC
). Bought a GS500F
for the "L's", got the licence then.... what to upgrade to??? I'm no spring chicken, so a full-on sports bike riding posi looked a bit uncomfortable for my ancient bones. Fortunately, a mate had recently bought a ZZR110 and, as I"ll be doing a lot of 2-up (short) touring when I can double (May)... well, after extensive research (can't hurt to own the FORMER "Worlds Fastest Bike",I thought) and considering $$$$, I bought one too. Got lucky and found a gem ('94,29k,immaculate) and DO I LUV IT OR WHAT!!!! Best thing I EVA did!!
Anyway, I'm Sydney based so might see you guys up OPH some time
