Perhaps it would also be good to mention some of the seemingly simple parts/tasks that are in fact designed to turn a mild mannered people into deranged homicidal maniacs

Such as;

Those tiny phillips screws on square brake fluid reservoirs, that are made of chocolate and round off before you even insert the correct size screw driver.

Or removing the airbox from an 06/07 ZX10, which requires turning sideways, the muttering of a secret phrase, a diagonal tug to the left, three scraped knuckles and a final rotation along the y axis.

Or perhaps the many handed job of refitting a rear wheel while holding the brake caliper in place, holding the spacer on both ends of the axel, lifting the wheel, lining up the holes in the swingarm and pushing the axel through.

Or warning of those shinny chrome nuts and bolts that are in fact plated and the plating flakes off the first time a spanner or socket is attached to the nut or bolt.

last two good points mike..........and i do the back wheel with quite a strange arrangement of non motorcycle lifting apparatus......... and as for flaking chrome bits forget the asthetics...what about the cuts .... that shit is like razor blades....

11. Irish Tension Wrench - used for tightening nuts until the thread strips, then back it off half a turn.

Got to hold your mouth right (plus turn airbox precisely 43degrees 7 minutes anti clockwise ) .......... Ummm can you tell me exactly what that "secret phrase" is ????? PLEASE

Try doing a CBR1000RR - the 10 seems so much easier all of a sudden!
Perhaps above mentioned "secret phrase" is the same one I use when the rear brake caliper drops down chipping the paint on your previously unmarked rim

Might as well show it now before it gets oil all over it and scratched
This is my shiney new basic work set, underneath I have all my big range spanners to 3 1/2" for hydraulics.
My snap-off stuff is still in Brisbane and it WILL be staying at home from now on after it was raided
