GOOGLE!!!!!!!!!!! is my friend
Timing Retard Eliminator information.
uses different maps depending what gear the bike is in. The TRE fools the ECU by giving it a permanent 5th or 6th gear input.

the 10r have a power retarder (timing retard) in the first 4 gears below 5000rpm (stops joe blow from flipping it when taking off from the lights). The TRE fools the bike so it elimates the retard from the first four gears. It does this by suggesting to the ECU it is in 5th.

Great mod and comes with gear indicator.

not smoother but more instant acceleration from a stand still and at low revs.

Gi Pro is the Go, got one on my 07, it's great for sorting out the bottom end, gear indicator is great and the bike idles just fine.

+1 mate I had the RatedR version on my last bike which worked OK.
The 06 runs the Gipro like "everybody want's to be like" Mike said. Cost a little more but is fairly easy to fit plus having the selectable modes and a gear indicator is suprisingly useful. (Even though you only really use the 1st two maybe:roll: )

Tip - if you get the blue one put a square of dark window tint over the display - It's pretty distracting at night espescially otherwise ;)

Another one for the GI Pro on my 06! V easy to read, changes v quick and pretty easy install. Down low power delivery better, idle's fine, I wouldn't do without it now!
