Re: Aprilia
Tim- The bike is still being repaired, they are taking awhile to get the parts from kawasaki, they have being dyno testing my bike and its been running too rich causing the bike to seize randomly and fouling the plugs heaps, fingers crossed hopefully this time they will sort it out. Should be do by Tuesday so no riding for me on the weekend
But i hope i get it back before your P's so we can go do some u-turns!
gpxpunk- Just waiting for it to get fixed farking soooooo bored without it. Thought ill just look around and do some researching, never ridden a 2 stroke b4 so i was just curious on how they go and stuff
Rob- yea i've heard they weren't the most reliable things but they look great and would make a good tracky for a beginner? as for the repairs and stuff it'll be a pain in the butt and i'm pretty bad when it come to hands on stuff took me a year to get my battery out for charging lol
but i can always learn
are they very hard to work on rob?

Piece of piss if you know what you are doingkevindinho wrote:: but I can always learnare they very hard to work on rob?
The make the best track bikes .... you get to learn to keep the throttle open in turns hence the extra corner speed, & you have to do this to keep up with anyone
You would have to be pretty unlucky to high side one as they don't develop too much power so you get to learn to thrash it to get anywhere, as a learners track bike I would give it 8/10 as they are fairly forgiving & you wont get into too much trouble.
a 10/10 would be a 125 GP bike I had a ride of a 2001 Honda RS & it was farking crazy
