I have the same problem with my new Z1000, even considering selling it because of the seat but don't seem to be able to get what I want price wise..so if I have to keep it then I will need a new/padded seat. i find the seat really hard and yes..narrow. I had an R1 for years and never got a sore arse..now after 20 minutes it is rerally bad. Please let me know if you found a good aftermarket seat. There don't seem to be many around.
