It's to help slow down the movements from side to side ( Tank slaping ) in the handle bars when you on the throttle (Hard Acceleration ) out of corners :kuda:

And also if you hit a bump mid corner

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

they are not a necessity, I know plenty of super quick riders that dont run em'.

I have recently took mine off the barge, and it does steer nice without it, so I might leave it off.

The cost is a slight turn off for many. However it will come down to the bike you ride and how you ride it. If you get on the gas hard out of corners then this is where they come in handy. The 6r doesnt accelerate hard enough to warrant one unless maybe on the track if at all.

Might have to disagree with you there Blurr. I'll be getting one for the 6 shortly. I know it has no way near the power of the 10 but it's still got enough to lift the front when in 2nd coming out of corners.

But I will agree that they are expensive and that you don't need to go out and buy one unless you are experiencing headshake regularly.

No offense meant there Russ. It was more aimed at generalising to an inexperienced rider that 6r wouldnt require one unless you are getting on the gas that hard out of corners in his or her early days of riding and or starting to use the bike for track use to stop high speed head shake.
