'08 ZX6R Fairing Comparison

Hi all,

Recently I low-sided my ’08 ZX6R and badly scratched the LEFT hand side fairing (the fairing section that houses the indicator).

I have priced up the replacement part for the ‘08 and the price is about $800AUD, which is very expensive.

Being inquisitive I priced up the same part, but for the ‘07 model (part number 5502 80127 777) which ended up being about $380AUD.

From my uneducated “by eye” examination of the bike (in general, not specific to the part) it appears that the ’08 is pretty much the same bike as the ’07, just with a revised sticker kit.

Is anyone able to help me out and accurately indicate if the described part is indeed identical?

Yep, they're the same I'm pretty sure. If you need parts I have a whole bike full of road bits for an 08. It's in the special edition colour but has been down on the left side so i suspect the same bits are scratched. If you need something let me know
