Not Politics or Religion
I just want to share my joy with someone...I picked the tip of the week in my footy tipping comp - go Warriors! (ching ching) I am now in 2nd place...early days yet I know but we are fiercely competitive in the insurance world. Last year I came first so my partner and I have put aside a small amount of $$$ and we are putting bets on IAS Bet on my weekly tips - gut instincts all the way - I am a chick and don't really understand all the intricacies of football.

I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..

I PASSED!
I passed my P's! Full license for me (gotta love being an oldie).
Yay, no more 'L' Plate on my Binjy for me! Yay Yay Yay....
But...it was not ALL smooth sailing, I used on of the bikes up at St Ives and DURING the test I almost dropped it...over on the right side (the heavy side) oooh it was touch and go....I could hear the sharp intake of breath and could hear the guys willing me to pick it up. It is a 'fail' if you drop the bike...well I picked it up...(didn't touch the ground)...then had to do the quick stop and obstacle before finally passing.
Not good for the blood pressure I can tell you. Only one guy didn't make it through, he was fine in the practice, I think it must be hard watching everyone else do the test...I was the 2nd to go through. I am glad it is over and now I can just focus riding and improving. Just think, I can buy a 7X10R now...haha (as if!)
Well, time for me to join a ride....

Re: I PASSED!
WTF I have never seen anyone hijack their own post before. The first one was about oil rigs and then you end up with your P's. Well done on the pass by the way.Cat wrote:I passed my P's! Full license for me (gotta love being an oldie).
