She wasn't real happy with it Saturday night, the poor possum. :( They looked a bit sore and itchy. Hopefully they are a bit better now and she is starting to enjoy the new peepers.

Awwwwww shucks! Thanks Pete :D

It's awesome - I can't believe I didn't do it sooner! :kuda:

Got it done on Thursday arvo. Went to the RTA on Friday morning to do the eyesight test and get my licence changed :kuda:
My right eye is perfect - it's like nothing has been done to it, except it's just perfect now :)
My left eye was a bit irritated on Saturday and the lights and smoke made it worse, hence the early retreat (you made me giggle Nelso - I don't think I've ever been called a poor possum before  )

Sunday and Monday was spent riding most of the time - it's so awesome not having glasses get in the way. I'm still all excited about it - bouncing around like an idiot and grinning like mad. I can't wait until my next trackday and not having to fix my glasses on the way down the straight :kuda:

The best part ... apart from being able to see forever, see leaves instead of a green blur, wear sunnies again, get busy with dave without having to worry about glasses getting squished, being able to see booby details in the bathroom mirror, not having fingerprint smudges in my view, etc... ummm... the best part would have to be seeing Robracer looking quizzically at me, and finally say "You cut your hair, didn't you??? Looks nice"

Thinking about getting the lasik thing done myself as high speed not always good with glasses or even contacts at times as you would well REMEMBER :kuda:

Congrats on getting the laser surgery done, Cath! I'd love to get my eyes done, I've worn glasses since I was 5 years old! I went and had a chat to one of the laser eye companys, and in the end they said that there is no point getting my eyes done. Because of the angle of my astygmatism, I would still have to wear glasses to correct that anyway. :x
Cheers,
Anne

What he said - congrats again Cath
(I wish I could get mine done :( )
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Of course I am honey  (And thanks for the hawt comment!)

Sure. Don't you??? You should in future - he'd like that

Probably   Hope not though - I've got a time goal and someone to catch this year...
And (look away now if you want LASIK but can't get it...) yes, it is amazing. It's beyond amazing - it's fucking awesome!!!

Thanks esie. Yeah - not much point if you'd still have to wear glasses anyway :( That sucks :(

IsleofNinja - Short sighted. My eyes will stabilize over the next few weeks, but at the moment I'm still slightly short-sighted in the left eye, but it's only slight. My eyes weren't too bad at all - The left was under 3 (2.75, I think) and the right was under 2, but glasses are annoying no matter how thick they are! I seriously can't believe I didn't do it a few years ago. It's in the top 3 of "best things I've ever done for myself" :kuda: Good luck!

How do you think her eyes went in the first place? Hence the now ongoing laser treatment!
