I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Congrats Cath it must be a load off not having to wear glasses I guess, for several years now I've been tryin to talk my wife into doin laser but she refuses, she says she's afraid if it becomes unsuccessfull and allways worried what the future would hold even if she did it and then her eyes would get worse, I feel for her, at the moment she cant see well with or without her glasses its a bad thing this week eyesight problem any how good luck with your new sight

Mate, I've also had it done, so now I only have to wear glasses for reading, pc..etc.. 8)

Both, Joy and myself had it done back in 2002-2003, and we loved what it gave us. I liked it so much I went back for another correction a year or 18 months later.
We had it done at New Castle and the centre, their staff, the Doctor were professional in their approach their conduct in every sense. The second time around didn't cost us a penny and up until recently I've gone back for an annual check-up which was also part of the original deal.

What I would recommend for your wife to do, is to go along to a Lasik centre and get an assessment, which is free and they will outline all the different possibilities based on her current condition. I suppose, that was the most impressive part of the whole thing, is that they outlined exactly what could be expected no more , no less .
