The tyres on it were pretty impressively shagged. Maybe that was his secret? The mags off my Hyundai are going on if they fit. Standard Hyundai wheels are on there at the mo. :)

Looks like it doesn't have an a12- maybe an a14 or a15- judging by the alternator position. Can't find any other evidence of engine size. :shock:

Mate depending on the age it could be a rebadged Mazda Bongo van.

I think they came with a 1400cc or 2 litre.

Woohoo! Got an A15 in it. Wonder why it's so slow then? Damn it has some rust in it- I cut 2/3 along the nosecone today to remove rust there- previous owner had sikaflexed the whole area- no metal left in most places. No wonder it rusted further. No metal from front bumper into cab. Gonna keep me busy for some time. :shock:

Ever consider going to a wreckers to pick up a chassis and transplant everything across to it?

Hmmmm not sure. I like a challenge. Need to update my panelbeating skills. What better way. Bloody time consuming though. :shock:
