Hmmm, only 1/2kg this week, haven't quite got the right mindset yet. 2kg Cath, that's a good start :)

Yeah... but I've had plenty of good starts, time and time again! I'm going for a good finish this time ;)
Besides, slower weight loss is more likely to be sustainable, so I'm hoping to manage 1 kg per week for this challenge... Hoping

Putting weight on is easy. Just eat big (the right things of course) and train big. The problem is it takes a while so it seems you are not progressing at all, ie if you can gain 1 kg a month you are doing well. Go by the weights you can lift and if that is progressing the size will follow. I've never trained anyone who hasn't been able to get bigger and stronger.

Gaining weight is easy - eat plenty of protien, plenty of carbs, keep the reps low and the weights high. Getting good power to weight ratio, that's hard. In BMX racing we aim to bench press our body weight, curl half our body weight and squat double or weight. I need to be lighter and maintain strength (less fat would also help).

No change this week
I actually lost another kilo last weekend, but gained it back while unsupervised during the week

I'm surprised there's no change to be honest. No running (I hurt my knee) and I averaged 1752 calories per day this week - I should've gained weight, not stayed steady, so I'm actually relieved!

Wayne - can you update the spreadsheet for me? I can't log in anymore for some reason.
