Halfway House Destroyed
Fire destroyed the Halfway House on Putty Rd Howes Valley (NSW) last night. No Fuel or Coffee between Colo Heights and Bulga or Broke..........

Wowsers. Would suck if you got caught out there. I guess putty runs will now have a "backup" ute with a fuel barrel in the tray. Or just top up elsewhere and nanny it or go from the northern side instead.

That's a bummer - was a good stopping point for a break.
It's 175km from Windsor to Singleton so petrol stops shouldn't really be a problem should it?
There's a great fish and chip shop near Coles in Singleton

I just rode to colo heights and the guy at the ampol confirmed that it did indeed burn down..He was also pretty happy to know that his little shop is going to get a lot busier...
