Avoid roundabout's!!!!!

Post by Disco »

Well I know a few of us on here have trouble with roundabout's  .....But saw something real disturbing on the way home this afternoon....At the same roundabout I had my mishap traffic was extremely slow and could see the flashing lighs coming closer to it...What did I see a rider down :x ....poor bastard lying on the ground with people crowded around, so I parked the car at home and walked down to see what happend and if he was OK...Medical services and the police were already there guy's leg is a busted up with the young guy in the car looking a little inconvenienced at what had happend  ....From what I was told by witnesses the you guy in the cage didn't even slow down and jumped into the roundabout.....

To me this is because of that farked up rule about first person in the roundabout has right of way....What ever happend to give way to your right :? Now because this guy wanted to get home 4 second's earlier this poor bastard is spending fark knows how long in hospital......

Oh and the guy was on a Kawasaki but some vulcan cruiser thing  .....That's two kawasaki's this roundabout has claimed so I would avoid at all cost's :kuda:

When in doubt it's always better to stop... regardless of the stupid right has way rule...
My life and my limbs are more important than some dickhead who doesn't think
the road rules apply to them.... and trust me there are a lot of them out there...
Don't expect people to give way to you...
Just assume they won't... assume they haven't seen you at all...and more often than
not, you'll be dead right...Apart from that, cage drivers tend to have this image of
us... like I don't know...we are the scum of the earth or something...
It has happened to me so many times... pisses me off...
I'm indicating here.. I'm trying to change lanes... move the fuck on or over...
and let me in... :x
I swear some have pissed me off so much that if helmets weren't so expensive
I would smash their car to bits with my helmet... only because I can't throw my
frickin bike at them... otherwise I would !!! gggggggrrrrrrrrr....
So annoying when people aren't considerate on the road...
The road is there to share...
Well that's my piece... what pisses me off the most though is when you
are trying to overtake them and they speed up so you can't, but then slow
right down when you get stuck behind them...
I swear one of these days... they are not going to be so lucky...
I am WOG... hear me ROAR !!!

Did you stab him with two screwdrivers and gouge out his eyes and squish them on the road?

Sounds like a bit of a story to me. I've yet to meet a motorcyclist who has problems with roundabouts.

As a boy in blue what's your opinion should it be give way to the right?......Just seem's like people race into roundabout's now rather than coming to an almost stop and giving way.....

I feel for the guy and take this time to express my feelings about the whole thing . .. .

When riding a bike ... the best thing to do is assume EVERYBODY has no idea of road rules or how to drive a car or ride a bike (regular company excuded of-course ;) )

Playing "whos gettin to the round-about first"" is game I reluctantly admit I play ... in the cage ... but on a bike ... my extremities just aint worth it .

Hope he rides another day . .. ;)

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good
