That's why I was worried - this weekend is the Oxley run!
I didn't want to do the Oxley on a bike I technically didn't own anymore, as it was written off. I also didn't really want to do the Oxley as the support vehicle, in a car. And I needed an answer today, as there was a bike I was going to test ride and buy if Genki was written off, and I was hoping to get that before the weekend so I could get acquainted with it on the Oxley run.
I guess admin screw ups can happen any time, but I'm really happy I kept pushing, as I was ready to accept that it was a write-off and just buy this other bike. Imagine if I dropped 10K - 12K on another bike, expecting a cheque from the insurer, only to be told that the cheque wasn't coming - my bike was going to be repaired!

Then I'd have two roadies and an annoyed Minister of Finance
