IMO if ya havnt givin it stick by 500km's its too late to get the rings bedded right. After a 1000-1500k's ya can change to a synthetic oil if you desire.

I ran my 03 636 in similar to the mototuneusa recommendations & it seems fine, I changed over to full synthetic Shell Ultra @ 2500km's after running it on Shells mineral S4? Changing it @ 500, 1000, 1500 then 2500 to synthetic.
I read in a magazine, two wheels I think? that Castrol Engineers reckon a good quality mineral oil until around 8000km.
