I'm still bemused by the fact an aussie band sing a song about a battle that was fought by mainly Americans (and VC/NVA regulars).....What about Long Tan, Coral or Balmoral - guess they dont sound as good

the song makes no mention of the seige of Khe Sahn, the song lyrics start (and the only mention of the place Khe Sahn is here )

the rest of the lyrics reflect the fucked up nature of the australian involvement in the Vietnam War and its effect on those who fought
(which, from many a yarn over a beer with my mates who fought...at places like Long tan, Binh Bah and yes Coral/Balmoral ...are pretty correct)
