I would assumethat, unless you're an actually track rider/racer, the difference between all current/new model litre bikes is not noticeable to the normal rider. Comfort and aesthetics would probably be the major influencing factors in the final decision. The difference in power/torque, handling, braking, etc wouldn't be significant enough for the everyday rider to notice, I'm guessing. But you'd know more about that than me
You know what assume does . . .

I have offered it to her for a ride, but i think the wind will be a little too much for Mel....

Offer still stands Mel, but i have the feeling that it will turn you off Naked bikes. Loads of grunt, not bad handling but the wind, im not to sure for you????
Aaah that is why they made the ZRX1200S ;) for those that desire more wind protection on those long distance jaunts ;) :kuda:
You were warned Mel ;) ... looks like he has recruits nowadays too

  Yes, I got some serious Crim damage after that strop..... much fun indeed...

although, jumping back on to the Barge was actually not so bad - I learnt a bit more about the track and lines etc after the ride on Nemo, and I still love the Barge...

Mel - as I said to you this arvo, the gixxer is a nice comfortable bike for sure, goes well and looks OK - but do you need all those ponies ?? It's all extra bickies for tyres, chains etc - I reckon you should get a good stint on a new 6 and it will have all the horsepower you need, for the riding you do.....

Phil - you have to admit mate, a young kid on a 250 probably knows waaaaay more about bikes than you ever will !!!    ;) I mean, after all, one of his mates has an 09 Yammie !!! Wish I had one of those....

Mel had a nudge on the MFP12 earlier this year mate, on the Halls Gap run......she came back with a smile on her face, not sure if that was from the gig or the ride.... ;)

Are you muppets just fcuked in the head or looking for shit?

The OP mentioned the K5 and the R1, so I did too.

I never tried to say I knew more than anyone about bikes, in any way whatsoever.

Old mate's ridden them all and knows waaaaay more than I do. But R1's just aren't his thing, so don't ever get an R1.

Yeh, I wish I had an 09 R1, I bet you wish you did too, kid.

The MFP12 was an absolute blast to ride... out on the open road! I had some problems negotiating it around servos, backing up on gravel etc! It's HUGE! :kuda: but it goes really, really fast :D

OK the Monster Energy ZX6 is back on the list as well. Should be getting my arse on an 05 blade this weekend too hopefully.
