Serial hoon caught driving scooter

A Kinsgway teenager who faces having a second car crushed for hooning offences has been caught driving again on suspended licence, police said.
Thomas Stocks was the first man to have his car crushed earlier this year under Western Australia's beefed-up anti-hoon legislation.
On Friday, the 19-year-old pleaded guilty in Midland Magistrate's Court to having no authority to drive and giving police a false name after he was caught driving
on a suspended licence in Ellenbrook last Sunday.
He was fined $1000, given 20 demerit points and had his license suspension - which currently ends in 2012 - extended by nine months.
His car has been impounded for 28 days and could be crushed, police say.
Police said Stocks and a mate were stopped by officers while riding motorised scooters in the Perth suburb of Tapping.
They were spotted riding the bikes with no headlights on, on an unlit part of Pinjar Road at about 10pm.
Stocks and his 17-year-old friend were also not wearing safety helmets and equipment, police said.
Stocks will appear in court at a later date after being summonsed for having no authority to drive and riding an unroadworthy vehicle.
Stocks' scooter has been impounded for 28 days.
