I received a letter from Kawasaki informing me there is a recall on my model bike and I rang my local dealer who didn't know anything about it. They did look it up and said they just had to order in a part and fix it but as my bike is the first brand new thing I've ever bought (prefer old cars) I don't know anything about recalls. Is there anything I should know or do in regards to warranty and so on? Not that I don't trust the dealer...... I just like to be informed
Thanks for that - just what I wanted to hear
It's a 2010 model and the recall states "on affected units engine oil may leak and deposit on the rear tyre".The dealer hadn't seen any with problems but they ordered in the replacement part and I will take it back on Saturday.
