It's the same in the U.S. but i just wave at everybody and if the arseholes don't wave back I flip them off. Even some harley riders wave back. There is nothing better than coming up on a herd of Harleys doing about 10 below the speed limit and shooting past them at 120 MPH then waving at them as you pass. I heard a rumor that Harley Davidson and John Deere tractors is merging, same engine technology. Imagine yourself riding the mean streets of your local town and impressing the ladies with your loud pipes and chrome and going home to plow the fields with the very same vehicle. It boggles my mind. They are calling the new product the Harley Deere. Jim Beam and Beer are the fountain of youth.

..............So do harley riders nod back to one another?
Lately, most of the harley riders I pass all most fall of twisting their heads around to see. My bike is still so raw in Aust, so people look, then look again. But I do get more nods than not. I am just one of those friendly people, so nodding comes naturally, lol.
Oldman, I think the harley jokes have been done to death. lol
Cheers
Lisa

Re: Wavin' or noddin'
To death? never.
Nodding, if im not engrossed in not crashing (i.e. mid-corner) then i'll try and give it a go. I don't just limit to non harley/non scooters unless they look like they aren't going to nod back (i.e. sandals/shorts/shirt/bandanna can be worn by any fool on any bike).
