Kawasaki Mechanic preferably on the north shore

Post by Reedy »

Anyone recommend a decent mechanic that deals with cvk carbs and doesnt charge like a wounded bull. I eventually ended up ording a jet kit and K&n high flow filter replacement. I'm not game messing around with the carbs myself (probably drill holes though them). Last time I had something done I took the beast to sydneycitymotorcycles but I wasn't too impressed.

I've got the nifta 2fifta for at least another 12 months so i might aswell make the most of it. Before anyone starts banging on about why bother :) and I got a pretty good deal on the kit and filter $170.00AUD shipped from the US.

cheers

+1 for Lloyd, Punch St (opposite end to the bunnings), Artarmon, and only a short work to St Leonards station means you can drop it off in the morning then head to work and pick it up in the arvo.

Give a guy called Russ a bell on 0425 203 520. He is a qualified Suzuki, BMW, KTM, Triumph techo and is feckin brilliant! He is on the north shore (artarmon), knows his stuff, has loads of common sense and charges fuck all!!! Tell him Strika pointed you in the right direction!
