Berik boots

Post by Plaz »

Well as a part of the new bike purchase i picked up some Berik boots:

Very happy with them so far, comfortable to wear and seem to be good quality, I'd say on par with my Sidi boots for sure. They were the right fit and a really good price ($239.00) but they only come in white.

Does anyone know of a good effective way to dye them black?

Take them to a shoe repairer and have them dyed professionally.... that way you wont get uneven colour like if you try to do it at home :kuda:

Mine are exactly the same as the pic in the first post, once you wear them that white bit gets dirty and you wont notice it as much. Unless you are talking about the ones that are totally white, with the black berik symbol  I noticed them when I got mine  yeah a bit too much white for me also.

Also one of my zips broke after a few weeks of wear. I took them back to the shop and the next day the berik rep replaced them with brand new ones :D

They where white Russell and they were the most uncomfortable boot I ever wore. :?
The side dug into my heal and it was extremely painful after about 10 minutes on the bike.. They were fine for the first few months....

anyway, probly just me as others like em and I think they were the model before these......

To colour them just go buy some leather die and some cleaning prep stuff - I got it all from the mr minute (key cutter) guy in the middle of the shopping ctr.. :-).
