A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

Changed my mind
It's actually really good, just needed to figure it out, didn't get instructions
2gb micro sd does 27 mins of really great footage

OK, so it's a cheap self contained video camera? Does the output come in avi, mpg or something else? Does it come with the MicroSD? If not can you hook a brothers up with cheap ones?
I wonder what camera Jono is gonna use when he goes racing, these seem cheap enough to be able to take a risk with.
How many have you bought now Seiko and which is the pick of the bunch?

Re: It's Tiny
Ive got 2 of these things.. Picked them up for $17 each delivered
Dont be expecting them to perform awesomely on the bike cause they really dislike vibrations..
The audio and picture quality is pretty damn good for a cheap cam though.. They'd make a good camera for still video
If you plan to use it on your bike make sure you buy a Mircro SDHC(instead of the cheaper sd card), otherwize your video footage will keep pausing from not being able to keep up

It's AVI only, which is a good thing.Bogan wrote:OK, so it's a cheap self contained video camera? Does the output come in avi, mpg or something else? Does it come with the MicroSD? If not can you hook a brothers up with cheap ones?

8GB SDHC Card set me back $25 each. (not really cheap anywhere I can find)
I have one at home and three on order with two being for the Busa riding Bro
It does actually work as a webcam too

Re: It's Tiny
Has anyone figured out a way to mount it yet? I've looked inside my helmet and "think" I can mount it with some Velcro but really want to look at some other options - not keen on having something flying around inside my helmet if I have an off. Going for a test run tomorrow with it clipped / zip tied to my tank bag but suspect it will vibrate too much to be useful.
Also - use the AC adapter to charge rather than a computer USB port - much quicker I've found

Mounting.....mmmm let me see, going to cable tie it all over the bike and see which gets the best results
I will keep you posted if it ever stops raining

Re: It's Tiny
Took mine for a spin this morning - mounted it above the triple tree on my 12v outlet. Result was way too many vibrations. Was watchable but really not great.
Going to look at helmet mount next

Mate - might be an idea to pop a zip tie around the camera to secure it to the mount. Just in case

They were alright, didn't fall off but footage is unwatchablewaynemorgan wrote:Mate - might be an idea to pop a zip tie around the camera to secure it to the mount. Just in case
I think helmet mounting will be the only option.
Worst thing is I had a great ride down the GOR, next to no traffic and no plod.
Get home and drop my helmet off the seat and broke the r/h baseplate
It landed on the open visor.
All I can find on the net is shoei.com.au with the part but they want $24 to ship it with no other options
$24 for a 20 gram part.....kiss my arse
Does anybody know where else I can get it??
