As for the vibrations, im guessing they are normal. Just like when you hold a whipper snipper

The vibrations could be the front wheel balance too.. I got new tires fitted and wheels balanced today on my 2009 zx10r with weights added to the front wheel and the vibration i had is now gone :kuda:

Hey thats a lovely bike kev. I went from a 250 to a 636 as well and I found the vibrations were a tad annoying. I got a set of HVMP bar ends from the us and they made a HEAP of difference. I tested them back to back against the stock bar ends. I found on the stock bar ends the vibration was the worst during highway speeds when revs are constant I think around the 7k - 9krpm mark. The bar ends eliminated 95% of the buziness and it doesnt even cross my mind anymore when I ride. Yes they are a bit big, but seriously, they work well and you'll get use to the look of them.

I did some research, came up with the conclusion that the front springs are too stiff for me, the stock springs suite a 100kg rider and i weigh only 75kgs.

Wilf- i had a look at ur 04 model? its also suited for a 100kg rider, check it out
