Changing clocks......
As per my evolution of a race bike thread, I am looking as ousting the stock CBR dash, and fitting a simple electric tacho. Issue is, CBR dash has 1 big connector for all the wires; tacho, speedo, temp guage, neutral light, oil light, indicators etc. If I switch to am after market guage am I going to have to pull the big connector apart, and will this bugger up my chances of a propper race dash in the future?

Re: Changing clocks......
If I had to do that I'd start by identifying what pin does what in the big connector. Then simply connect wires from the pins you need to the new clock.
That keeps the OEM connector in tact and if you need to switch back you can.
