ZX636
gaday
almost to the end of my penance (LAMS) had intended getting a bran nu bike.
but at 15'000 for a zx6r thats just a bit out of my range.
I'd go 12 at a pince.
but I found a sweet ride while surfing the classifids a ZX6R 636 in mint condition has 29k on the clock.
this is a special edition silver while the candy wheels forks and factory flame decals, digital taco.
not sure if the taco is anything out of the ordinary but most i have seen have a anologe taco.
any way .
my question IS ??
Is 8k for the above 636 2006 modle too much to pay???
have found a special edition black and silver 2008 for 9999K with 8k on the clock.
which would you buy?? the 06 in silver or the 08 in black with silver graphics???
I prefer the look of the 06 with the flames .
I'd like to here your thoughts.
have included a pic of the silver bike.
Cheers cloudnine9

Re: ZX636
digital tach is standard from 03- 06.
i'd pick the 06 model before the 07-08 personally. extra 36cc is stuff all but every bit helps.
but the 09 is the pick of the bunch
remember the silver is matt finish, so if you like spending sunday afternoons polishing your baby. no can do.

Re: ZX636
I didn't say i had 12 i said i'd go to 12 for a 2010.
but
sitting back and looking at the reality of everything even 12 is probably out of my buget .
i tend to be an impulse buyer.
it will be a weekend bike , so i should be more realistic.

Re: ZX636
For the road if you cant afford a 09 Id go a 636 also. The 07-08 is a great bike but lacks some bottom end that the 636 has.
Id say $8K is a little steep with 29K on board. Depending on any extra's like a pipe etc Id be trying to get it for $7K but I like to haggle
Good Luck

Re: ZX636
Went and had a look see.
beautiful bike, wide tail. perfect paint.
the silver is Gloss. it does look sweet,
BUT the 8K advertised!!! doesn't include rego and on road.
the real price is around 9500.
and they dont like to haggal.
their big selling point is it's a Limited edition.
cheers Cloudnine9
