has anyone managed to get this done if so where and how much.
my new bike only has 1 black key.
others lost by fuktard previous owners!!
kawasaki australia are not helpfull at all .
they emailed my inquirery and said DON'T loose that key boy.
as 1bit of advise.
another was track down first owner to see if he had found the red key. ya right.
last 1 was get new master key set with new ecu and dealer will recut new keys to the locks on the bike.
what a crap way of dealing with the you can't steal this bike electronics and the doppy prick that designed the system.

Check ebay out.............
An ebay store seller has the Red Blanks for sale. They might code them as well or maybe know where to get it done..

Re: getting keys recoded without the red key??
Yes it can be done.. no problems at all..
I have rebuilt 3 ZX10's and have had a second key cut and programmed for each one, and all done without the RED key.. these where done with the BLACK key.. it is very simple.. but costly...
Blurr has been able to get it done as well.. you need the right technology, the right key blank that will hold the right tubular chip and you are right.. I could help but you are in QLD and Iam in VIC.. couldnt be further away...
But it can be done... so until then, dont lose that key..!!

Re: getting keys recoded without the red key??
found another guy again after i went to the trouble of sending my keys to VIC and stuff.
my two keys i got done cost me $299 all up.
bloke down the road from me could have done it while i waited for $120 per key.
he's even done a 2010 zx10 no trouble.
so if your in southern queensland a trip to Beenleigh Coles for just about all your Immobilizer keys.
some euro models not catered for.
cheers Cloud 9
