Welcome aboard baddie,
There are plenty of 10 riders here who will be able to help with your question - unfortunately I'm not one of them.
If you were after a great road 10 I'd suggest chatting with Blur and checking out http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 16&t=29556

Re: Buying a ZX10r
I love my 09 Gen3 ZX10R.
The only gripes I have with mine is the stock steering dampner is complete shit. Either replace it or get the internals replaced, and the bike has an annoying buzz around 3k rpm due to the ignition barrell and 4k rpm due to the front fairing but that could just be my bike.

zip ties fix all.
I had 2 annoying buzzes / rattles at 5kRPM on my 6, one from the exhaust protector cage and one from the front cowl. zip ties fixed both whilst being invisible

Mate, you should take your bike to Kawasaki and have the steering dumper fixed cause its not working at all.Dingus wrote:I love my 09 Gen3 ZX10R.

Is it covered by the bike's warranty??

Re: Buying a ZX10r
It did jack on my bike.. From my understanding, they came this way from factory so noobs wouldnt crank the adjustment up and not be able to steer the thing..
Best money i have spent so far was getting the damper rebuilt

Re: Buying a ZX10r
Thanks for all your imput....the bike is currently being used in the Red baron series of the FX xtreme, so im guess the steering damper issues may have been looked at??
But I'm looking at replacing with a GPR V4 steering damper is there are any issues.
Also whats the deal with the numbers, can you put only number you like?
