How good is the aussie dollar going ?......
At the moment 1AUD = 1.01 USD. Good time to be buying stuff from the USA.

We exchanged a significant amount to USD 2 week's ago at 99.78 for our US trip next year hope we didn't jump in too early
....
Also it's stupid once you exchange it you can't keep it in the bank

Don't worry mate...I'll send my dispatch agent to pick it up and send it via ebay to a US bank so you can get the interest...Disco wrote:We exchanged a significant amount to USD 2 week's ago at 99.78 for our US trip next year hope we didn't jump in too early....

Re: AUD v USD
Just spent 4.5k US on an upcoming trip to Kenya 2 weeks ago. It was not a lot of fun trying to guess when the best time was to pay (and for that matter, when the money was going to be taken out) as with that level of spending, 0.1 cent was about $4.50
. i think we got out of it not too badly with me getting the receipt while it was hanging about at 99.98c.
