Good news

Post by oldman »

My wife was diagnosed with cancer about 6 weeks ago and we went through the final surgery today and we are looking good. A few tests and some minor radiation therapy and I think it will be over other than the bi-yearly tests. I had suspended the riding for awhile as we don't need two people in the hospital at the same time. I will pick her up from the hospital tomorrow so all is good. This is my 4th wife and she is a good one so I would like to keep her for awhile.
Jesus drinks Jim Beam. Cheers.

A good Christmas Present :D
Tell her, as much as possible, never to take it to seriously.
That is very hard for some people of course but that's what I did....
and unfortunately for KSRC....I'm still here  Just passed ninth anniversary last August
and still drinking, smoking and eating badly...Oh and I (actually) ride a rather large Barge to boot ;)

Good to hear. I bet the last 6 weeks have been tough so a bit of good news would be a welcome change. Glad things are looking positive for you both.

Thank you all for the positive comments. I'm looking forward to a good 2011.
This little ordeal makes me realize how my wife felt when I was in the hospital after my 2006 crash. I'm Looking forward to a good ride now that she is on the mend, however we have slick snowy roads and a temp of 3 degrees F, (-16c) so I might wait a couple of days.
For some reason after my wife got home from the hospital she became extremely amorous, (horny to those illiterates among us, such as people from Utah). At 65 I am trying to keep up with her but if not, my death will be with a smile on my face. Viagra and Jim Beam, the perfect combination. Cheers!
