8 solid hours of work later we'd swapped over the sub frame(had a crack from before I got it) installed my akra ti/cf full system and pc3 with map for the system and we created a beast. Gotta love the $AU.
The quality of akra gear blew me away. Not overstating it, the weight difference between the stock system and the akra is huge! Sound is deep, throaty, beautiful.
I really need to get some money together while the Aussie dollar is still high.
Oh, and I see that the Akra doesn't have any heat shielding on it; Any noticeable extra heat come off it?
Btw Tim, saw you turning off Sunnyholt Rd onto Quakers Hill Parkway a few days back (I was coming down Quakers Parkway), I threw up a kuda, but I'm guessing you didn't see it.
2008 Lime Green ZX-6R
Four wheels move the body; Two wheels move the soul...
Clift, the stock can's heat shielding gets pinned onto the subframe above the can.... Along with the plastic trims, body work, seat etc it Isn't on when the photos were taken.
Nah, didn't see you mate, or if I did I didn't see the kuda.
That looks awesome Tim, wish I had the money to buy one of these with the Aussie dollar doing so well.
Where did you buy it from, if you don't mind me asking.

I see you now understand my philosophy...Quality may cost but cheap shit will always be that - cheap, and shit
Yeah my KTM and my DRZ backfire/pop ... Wish my ZZR did too
The KTM has a switch which allows it to run on Opal fuel, if I accidentally knock it the bike really gurgles and pops
