Bloody low lives.Here in Syd i always take my lid in with me because of that scenario.I've often put it up on the bowser then thought,na hang on its worth a few hundred bucks, some opportunistic prick might pinch it.

i normaly leave it on the peg but this time i left it on the bowser then.......ffs

This sort of makes a case for the "flip front" style helmet ....aka Nolan/RJay/etc.

I never take mine off in servo's - just lift the front and pay. No agro from the counter staff, either.

Unlucky dude! Ive always left mine on the bowser when going in to pay, and often worried about it getting knocked off.. Think ill take it with me from now on!

I had mine knocked off at Wenty Leagues, it was attached to the wire under the seat. They had to cut the strap to take it, not much use without a strap !! Took a 5 hour round trip to go back home (Shire) to get the spare. In Hindsight, should have rung up some KSRC mates to borrow a spare, lol.

Always take it with me now and after this news will take it into servo to pay........... sorry about your loss, must have been a bummer for your son looking forward to a trip with his dad

Just watch these farkers, it's a common bike theft scam. Steal the crash hat, wait for them to go off to get a spare etc and steal the bike while they're gone! This is often why they cut the strap. Theiving scum bag bastages deserve every bit if bad Karma the world can throw at em.

did ya forget i grabed the lid off ya last year for me lad (williamstown)
had to wait for the wife to finish work then i think she took wrong turn on the way out

bloody insurance wont cover cause nothing happened to the bike..........
