ZRX fork mods-What done,how much,did it work?

Post by Strika »

OK, so now the rear end has some decent suspenders, the front is showing obvious signs of distress. So........tell me what you have done, how much it cost and what was the end result for you?

Can't wait till Marty comes out of his drug induced noddy period and reads this. I'm sure he'll appreciate it, although if we could get to two pages of Pinchy piss taking before anyone says anything sensible that'd be pretty impressive :) :)

All good suggestions so far. Not that i understod any of them, i've been trousered all day.

Whatever i end up doing it won't be for a while till i have some coin. But just want to see what others have done.

What year model is yours Marty? It will make a big difference to what you can do to them.

Marty has "the good forks", ie ones that have a fair go a being revalved. Unlike Nelso's (and all models past 04) where you can do bugger all.

I had Glen revalve mine and it was fairly cheap, ie under $500 and it made a huge difference from standard. ;) Muddy would be able to sort something for sure. Including a cartride kit I presume ;)

Depending on your model, you can do a lot or very little. Some interesting reading in here that may help>>
