RST Leathers
Hey guys
It's been a while since my last big purchase of bike gear (AGV Leathers) back in the day when I had my TLR.
The zips and stuff are starting to perish and It's about time I'm due for a new set. I've been looking at the Tractech RST 2 peice suit.
Anyone had any experience with RST gear? It seems well priced, wondering if theres any quality issues?

The issue of quality is directly proportional to the issue of price.Duane wrote:wondering if theres any quality issues?

Re: RST Leathers
Im not sure if you are asking about their intended usage or how they wear in the day to day stuff . .
I have an RST two piece (unsure of the model no
) and over the past couple of years has shown no sign of anything major . . . Was a bit stiff to start with, but quickly moulded and is now very comfortable . .if not a little snug from too many coffees and pies
Oh, I forgot . . the zips for the top and bottom didnt quite match and had to send it down to their Melbourne office for a quick change and was done in days and without fuss.
Havnt crashed in 17yrs so cant comment on its intended use. (touch wood)
Would I buy em again? . .. Definately.

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

Re: RST Leathers
The RST's are probably fine. I looked at them when I bought new leathers last year. But, the shop offered me a deal on the Astars which was close enough to make the price value equation. Glad I did, it's nice gear.

Re: RST Leathers
Well tested as hire gear at PI and EC ride days. They're no Alpinestars but pretty good value for money I reckon.
