Fluid reservoir sizes.

Post by dutchy »

I'm looking at replacements for the 7 and was wondering if there is a differance if you don't use the stock sized reservoirs? This is for both the clutch and front brake. If I replace the front brake res with something smaller is it going to make a huge differance? If I replace the clutch res with something larger will that frig everything up?

I use a small brembo reservoir on my front brakes, have used the small ones on all my track bikes.. Makes no difference other than you have to fill em more when bleeding..
Its about the same size as the clutch reservoir on your 7..
The brembo one was cheaper than the orig zx7r clutch one...
On my rear brake I only have a clear hose, no reservoir.
