It might not be against SOP (standard operating procedure) for her to stand in that position without a hi-vis vest on, untill something goes wrong. That's when the shit will hit the fan.......... Worksafe/Workcover will be all over her bosses for placing her in an unsafe situation, without the proper PPE etc, etc.....

Taking speed readings of vehicles in corners is actually in favour of the vehicle being detected (ie: lower)photomike666 wrote:As for policing speed limits, are there not rules that state accurate reedings can not be taken on corners?

there was a bit of a straight and she had the radar on us as we exited the previous corner. think there was another one doing the uphill straight bit. cop cars parked off in the bush.aardvark wrote:Taking speed readings of vehicles in corners is actually in favour of the vehicle being detected (ie: lower)photomike666 wrote:As for policing speed limits, are there not rules that state accurate reedings can not be taken on corners?

Radars to get the most accurate reading need to be straight in front of the speeding vehicle, any angle froms straight on reduces the accuracy, however it actually reduces it in your favour.
